  • Looking for Players in My area

    Hi Everyone,

I live in the Philadelphia area. I am a Registered Nurse, married and have kids. The whole 9 yards lol. Anyway, I play frequently at Parx Casino. I love the forums here but honestly I only have one friend who's plays poker and he moved to Florida after cashing over $900,000 in tournament winnings. That now leaves me with 0 friends who play poker. If any poker enthusist live in the area and play at Parx or any surrounding casinos, I would love to know. I think the best way to learn is to go over hands with a friend. I would love to. play at tables with someone who I am able to get know and we can later go over out hands. Anyway if interested let me know. Thank you.

Pre-covid I played at Parx sometimes, more often in AC, not in Philly though I'm up in Brooklyn

Hello, I would love to play with you sometimes! The very fascinating life you have described here. I'm loving your energy, and I can see that you're very engaged in gambling. I also started as a young enthusiast, but for me playing is more than a hobby. My addiction begins at a younger age, and my father is the reason why . Recently I understood that I'm thankful for all the time that we've spent, him teaching all the tactics on how to always win. He also taught me how to bluff, but for me, poker isn't my favorite game. At the moment, I love playing online slots because it's easy and very convenient. This site https://www.vietnamwar.net/ is the best, and be sure to use VPN.

Sure, do you play at PARX frequently?

pre-pandemic I was a reg at PARX at least for the good tournaments and an occasional random daily and or cash game.
There are two distinct rumors going around.
1 is that tournaments will be back this month. The other is they are having trouble getting dealers lol
      Are you playing on Stars?

I play cash at PARX maybe once a week. They are having a lot of trouble getting dealers. Almost impossible to get a table if you didn't call ahead before 10am on any given day. I hope tournaments come back I would love to play in one. As for Poker Stars, I played on the site for a little while. I am not a huge fan, I like BET MGM/Party Poker a lot better. WSOP is coming to PA very soon also so waiting for that too. Happy that Poker Stars has competition in PA with Bet MGM and soon WSOP.

No one is playing on PA Party Poker. I tried to play a tournament last night and this morning but both didn't have enough to start. I think PS is by far the best of any online poker site really.
I play on Stars almost daily.

So PARX isn't even using all of the tables in the main poker room?

No they are not using all tables I do not think. PA party poker is still new it will take time to get new players. I think once WSOP opens it will attract the most players. I play cash games so I usually can find a table on party poker easy.

$900,000 is a nice score. Maybe that's what I'm missing: I never go for tournaments that have pay outs like that. Can't win if you don't play.

He has been playing since 2009. His total earnings are a little over $900,00 according to Hendon Mob. I am sure he is well over that when you combine his cash game profits.

You have got to be lucky in tourneys. I played with someone in a small card room that won the Borgata open for $976,000. Never thought he was that good. I also played with someone at the same club that won 3 WSOP bracelets. He was wicked good. To me, he was way better than the person who won the WPT Borgata open. But that is the luck part of poker.

          Thanks!
