  • Using Flopzilla Pro

I know there is a sticky for this.....BUT it seems to be broken

I have a few question and need some help if any of you are using this software
    1. Can you recommend any good instructional videos for using it e.g. on Youtube?
    2. Setting up / importing ranges...has anyone done this based on the 6max-online charts from PokerCoaching?
    3. Needs some tips for how to get the best out of using this software for studying

Flopzilla Pro is Flopzilla on steroids. I have only begun to scratch the surface of using it for multiway analyses.

Most of what is out there is for the earlier version of Flopzilla, which is an incredibly useful tool that every player should have in their toolbox.

I have put the "6max implementable GTO" ranges in, and have as a long-term project been keying in other sets of charts. This actually would be a good project to crowdsource.

The links above should give you a great start. My own addition would be to make Flopzilla analysis a regular part of your routine hand review practice, i.e. plugging your best guess as to villain's preflop range and evolving the hand as it plays. Watching a video is not the same thing as doing it yourself; and if you do it yourself (a) it becomes second nature; and (b) you learn a lot about how boards interact with ranges.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks very much, very useful stuff. I will definitely be using and plugging hands in for review - but having never used this software before I needed some starting reference. Cheers
