Why did Hero call flop? Hero holds the Ad, making Villain having a flush draw less likely, meaning you're probably behind. Also, if he did have a draw as he does here, since you don't have a pair he probably has 14 or 15 outs, so you're break even equity in the best case scenario. I understand pot odds balances it out, but is that enough reason to call here with Ace-high no-draw? And if you're talking about Villain's preflop call, I think it's better than Hero's flop call even if not good.

Read the hand again. It goes raise, 3bet, he calls 3 bet, I 4bet big, he calls.

I see limp, raise, donk calls, you 3-bet, limp folds, raiser folds, donk calls. What am I missing?

Doh - you are right - maybe I missed that in game as well - I was convinced I was 4 betting. Had I realised I was 3betting I'd would have gone a bit bigger. downside to 8 tabling!

I notice you have a tendency to raise preflop to a size that will rarely ever get someone to fold. Is this purposeful? With a limper I'd be raising to around 12.5k there preflop.

I clicked the wrong btn, I clicked 2.8bbs meant to go 3.6bbs - so yes I would normally iso raise bigger. Don't think it would change much in this hand though
