recommendation of live poker casino scene in Asia or low expenses country?

i am from singapore consider melbourne , but after thinking the rake i think is abit too high to make it profitable, its 10% rake cap at $15 , how many pot will play bigger then $150 pot in a 2/5 game.

hope the community can share various country culture and their poker rake in the country. its hard to find all the information online. i also welcome to look at country outside asia.
i think borgata casino offter a reasonable rake 10% cap at $4 . i am also looking at game lower then 5/10

I play in Melbourne and actually find the 10% rake quite beatable, though I'm making more playing at UPoker and PPPoker. Playing 30 hands/hour at one table can't beat multi-tabling with a low rake and bigger buy-ins.

i have play in pppoker and those chinese app poker, Pokermaster, i am winning at those app, but my concern is safety issue. i have win a good amount on this type of app. i have two time bankrun by the poker host . and i have seem and met enough of this type of case. there is no way we can guarantee safety with this type of unregulator app no one protecting against us

Personally I've had no problem with withdrawals (straight to my bank account) and also get 35% rakeback. I used to play at Poker Stars and found the tables to be full of nits, but the games are MUCH softer on the Chinese apps.

it is 100% softer then most poker site like pokerstar etc player in it most likely want to encourage action and they are full of gamblers more then grinder. haha is a earning business for the poker host . but The gambler will have a limit of losses they can lose. i have money that win with some of my capital get run by the host . in asia we are the very first few batch of player that play in pppoker , and etc app
before pppoker went to US australia and europe , singapore is one of first few starting area, include malaysia.

My advise to you guys dont deposit too much winning and too much capital with the host , you never know what they are thinking and when their business turn bad. maybe in the front they are doing good, but in actual fact they are not doing as good then they will start take what ever money and run. what can you guys do to him. hunt him down and kill him? now law etc to protect us.

when things are doing well they will pay you , you are not deposit 1 million , only when things turn bad in their side , we dont know when , either someone didnt pay them or their business turn bad , or when they hold too much money and they start to greed.

Yes indeed PPPoker and UPoker are a lot softer than Stars etc. I remember threads on 2+2 from 2005-6 where people were saying wouldn't the games be fantastic if the Chinese started playing? Well now they are and yes they're as bad as we thought they'd be Even better, they're playing on their phones, so apart from their hilariously bad play they're distracted and making input errors as well due to the interface being more clunky than using a mouse and keyboard. I mostly multi-table on my desktop but also play on my phone while playing at the casino, and still find myself making input errors and having to rush decisions despite having over 60,000 hands of experience on those two apps. And yes you want to find an honest agent, but that should go without saying. Personally I started by depositing $1000 and working my way up from the smaller games.

The app poker is good for poker circuit because it attract more rec player, they are playing on phone , watching TV, doing some other things while waiting for foods etc.
Finding a trusted club /agent might be a hard things then u can think of. Yes the agent can be your long time friend when the club run on him. Do u think the agent will able pay out so much. When one of the agent run also another risk.
Over the years I win over 20k in the app poker . If one of the time run host run away with your capital and winning it will be few k. That is =5-20% of your winning provided you are winning player plus the club last so long before something happen.

Talk about Chinese player they are generally more stations and gamblish. But not all are dumb. Willing to gamble and dumb there is quite different.
In chinese poker world and app. Come with bad structure, in cash game. Low buy in 100bb, with compulsory straddle and ante. In a 2/4/8 game come with ante 2. Average starting buy in is 400. Haha you can find player losing more then 13thousand in one session 1 and half hour.
